Rose gold meterorite; oyster flex or oyster braclet

Hi TRF Family-

I am leaning towards the oyster flex rose gold meteorite dial; love the dial, and bezel contrast.

Also, my other 2 Daytona's are on oyster bracelet.

Please share, if you have wrist shots with your oyster flex Daytona wearing a suit or dress shirt.

Thank you in advance!

I have torn between 2 and at last I choose oyster bracket as I guess it is relatively "easy" to get but not sure how long it takes. My SA said she will try to order it for me but she is also uncertain if this is an allocated piece or not.
Honestly I dont think I can get it.

Ceramic bezel and the meteorite combo just work so well together .

I would go with oyster and then buy Rubber B separately

I had the same decision to make when deciding on which white gold, steel dial model to get. Ended up with the Oysterflex and couldn’t be happier. It’s incredibly comfortable. It looks fantastic with the ceramic bezel. And it adds variety to the watch box. Also, I like having a sport model on an incredibly durable, sturdy strap that screams “sport”. At the end of the day, there’s more that separates these watches than the bracelet alone, so buy what you like more on the wrist, and in your life… Good luck!

You did ask for photos with a suit… This is the best I can find at the moment. I find this particular piece works best with sports blazer and a button up shirt; a full suit might be pushing it.

The gold is also about $10k more expensive. If the OP is after a sport watch, I think the Oysterflex (which, let’s be honest, is more than “just” rubber) coupled with the ceramic bezel is going to be more durable than an all gold piece which is well known to be a scratch magnet. If he wants a dress piece, then I suspect all gold may be more desired? Either way, it’s hard to go wrong.

I like the OF for the ceramic bezel and sporty strap. Gold flat polish bezel and PCLs will not look good for long.

Thank you for the wrist shots!

My concern is the same about the PCL, and non ceramic bezel.

I will be getting the oyster flex

I wish for the PM’s that Rolex would offer the bracelet with the ceramic bezel.

Would never buy a Rolex, much less PM, on rubber. I’ll never understand this combo, but to each their own.

The best watch is the one that's actually on your wrist.

I'm waiting on WG meteorite myself. Was told yes and that it would be awhile.

Do you know if this is allocated piece or can order directly from Rolex? My SA has no clue at this early stage but she has put the request for order though......
Thanks

Absolutely the best choice. It's a sport watch- ceramic bezel with OF is perfect. If you're going to dress up, a Daytona wouldn't be my choice, anyway. That's what a Cellini/SkyD/DJ is for.

Enjoy and pass along the snaps when it's on your wrist!

Sorry, I don't know those details. I tried it on during 2021 viewing and SA said it was orderable. I thought about it a week and texted him and told him I wanted it and said he said great, but that it would be a long time.

Option C: Buy the OF version, then get a high-gloss alligator leather strap for it. The meteorite dial is a work of art in my mind, and the most "artisanal" watches belong on leather, IMO.

But if you want to wear it stock, go for the Oyster.
