Do you put a helmet on when you drive?

Putting sticky tape protectors on a watch is akin to wearing a helmet in your car on your commute to work. Or plastic on your nice sofa. Relax. Enjoy your stuff and just stop it. Stop it. Put the tape down and stop.

A better one would be helicopter tape / special shield tape / skin on the front and rear bumper of a vehicle... Another one would be using the 3M material for bikes, which they often do on high-end bikes, on some of its parts: another good one is analogizing with a brand new flagship cell phone. I don't particularly like any of these analogies, but if you were going to use them, these would be better. I indeed enjoy my stuff. You need not to worry. I may enjoy them differently than you, however. Stay well! Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk |

Actually I have tried this product. It does its job very well and I only used it on the clasp. I know a lot of people are against this but I have PPF on my cars and enjoy them just the same. I don’t see why I’d want a beat up clasp just to call it “patina.”

OP asked for “thoughts” he got em. You’re clearly very invested in plastic covered sofas. I hold no ill will sir. Don’t worry so much about strangers opinions on a public forum.
