New here

Hey guys! I certainly have become a watch fan over the last month. About 3 weeks ago I made a purchase for a new Breitling Steelfish. This past Saturday I received my M SS Submariner from a friend that is a AD. This is a very strange thing for me to spend $ like this, but I certainly enjoy my new additions. I have been looking at the Sub for about 5 years.

Welcome to TRF. Nice pick ups. Now how about some pics. If you've been lurking around here, you know we love pics.

So please explain a little bit about how and why you waited 5 years and then got 2 watches of $$$ in a week?

Welcome

Well I walked into a jewlery store that I often use about a month ago and discovered that they had just become an AD for Breitling. I fell in love with the Steelfish and came back the next week and bought it. I spent the week before buying it studying and looking at both the Steelfish and the Sub. The Sub is the watch that I had always wanted but just couldn't let myself spend the $ for it. Well soon after I got the Breitling I found myself still studying up on the Sub and looking around for used one. I made a few phone calls to a friend that is best friends with a Rolex AD that is out of town. So I found my self with a new SS Sub date for a good price. I am so happy with both of my choices.

Hi dawgfan#1,

Welcome to TRF

Congrats on your purchase, we do love photos so let us know if you need any help popping them up.

Don't be shy, tell us a bit about yourself, like Lol-x said, why did you wait so long, I would have gone nutz

Enjoy,

Dave.

I'm a pretty laid back guy. I spend my time with my family, work, and my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I do enjoy exercising and now my new hobby with the nice "wristbands".

Yes! College football fans on TRF! I just joined TRF yesterday and couldn't be happier with the community.

I really really thinking about buying a Rolex this weekend but not sure if i should get it from and AD or through somewhere like TRF.

My finalists are the 16610 black ss sub, 16610 LV M series, or the GMT-Master II 166710 in black. Think for my first rolex I have to keep it SS!

That probably wasn't the best pic choice considering where #7 is right now.

I think there might be some TRFers getting together for Florida/Georgia.
