I'm back again to pulling the trigger on one too. Probably my third time around the horn. Not sure if that means I should definitely get one already or if it takes this much thought then it isn't meant to be - probably need a psychologist!

[for what it's worth, my view of watches retaining their value is not about investment so much as the ability to make a move down the road if you make a mistake on a purchase and find yourself not wearing it, etc, which happens from time to time when you buy a good number of pieces]

There was a watchbox review on one that had a double-sided dark blue croc strap (by PP) that was amazing. I've been in this hunt for a blue dial / blue strap patek. Started to text my AD but havent sent it yet.... better call the head dr.

For those with smaller wrist, consider 7234g. I just got mine (from AD) and love it. This is how it looks on my 6” wrist.

Truly a great looking daily wearer, beautiful granular dial, great lume, very useful travel time and date functions. I can't wait for mine to arrive. On my 6.75 wrist the 5524 sizing looks better to me.
Additionally, I agree with mjm700 that I look at these watches as a store of value, in that, if I need to get my money back and move into a new piece that I will be able to be successful. Pateks are so strong in value retention that it allows moving around the pp family easier. As a secondary bonus, if I can someday make a profit.. All the better. Just my 2 cents.

It got some hate but I like it more every time I wear it. Every time I put it on it’s harder to take off.
