Tough call, what a dilemma
At a push I'd choose the GMT IIc, the 24hr hand, bezel, AR coating & clasp would swing it for me |

Looks like I'm the only one to vote for the YM.
I just like the way it feels on my wrist more than the GMTIIC 'supercase'. They are both great watches, but the YM just works for me.

I maybe in the minority, but I don't like the SS/Plat Yachtmaster...the silver dial blends too much with the rest of the SS/Plat casing and bracelet. In my opinion, you need some different colors to break it up.

I like YM but I am a black dial person. If YM comes with a black platinum, I would choose it over GMT.
For now, GMT IIc |

I'm considering my next buy and, both, the YM and GMT IIc are in the fame.
Must say, I'm swaying towards the YM!!

Agree. While I love some of the YMs, the ss/plat is too monotone for my liking so I voted for the GMTIIC!

The decision would depend, IMHO, on what other watches are in your friend’s collection. I prefer the YM to the GMT-IIC but if I didn’t have a black dialed watch, I may be tempted by the GMT.

I'm going to vote for the GMT IIc - I think it's by far the best watch that Rolex produce right now - it might not be the technological marvel that the Deep Sea is, but it is wearable, practical, great looking, and sums up everything that is good about Rolex. Don't get me wrong, the Yachtmaster is a great watch in it's own right with a really unique look, but I personally prefer the solidity, weight and practicality of the GMT IIc.

Go for GMT IIc. Unless of course you own a yacht.

Both superb looking watches, tough choice!!
The YM for some nice dressy bling, but the GMT-IIC for the latest in technology and practicality that Rolex has to offer!! Either way.....an outright winner!!

GMT for sure, love the YM to be honest, but it always seems to look better on someone else (much the same goes for the Bluesy actually...I've tried both on and can't get away with them)....some look right on your own wrist and some don't....sure a lot of you have had similar experiences....both GMT and YM are fantastic pieces without doubt but for me it has to be the GMT

Another vote for the GMT2C. It's one heck of a watch.
