Hi all

A friend of mine wants to get his wife a 28mm Quartz Royal Oak. It won’t be new, in fact, by all accounts, the view is the older the better.

Is there anything he needs to know / look out for?

My friends wife has a 36mm gold quartz AP, it looks great on her. I might be wrong but I think I’ve heard that replacing the battery can be quite expensive due to where it’s located inside the watch.

I found a topic from 2004 where someone wrote he replaced the battery himself but others, as you can see, write that it's tricky and not that easy.
