15300 without b/p?
Have the opportunity to purchase mint blue dial 15300 H series without box and papers for 28k. Seller has been vetted and is legit. thoughts? Would cost me around 2-3k for extract, box and COA. Yay or Nay? Not sure if I would resell at some point or not.

Not sure of market pricing at the moment, so no idea of it’s a good buy or not.
What I can say is that the 15300 is superb and of my favourites and most worn. I wouldn’t be fussed about Box and papers, so I’d happily buy without as long as I trusted the source. And I wouldn’t then retrospectively but the box and papers, it’s just extra stuff to store. I would consider sending for a service though. When i bought mine, although it had never been worn so was mint, it has been sat in a box for eight years, so I figured a service was a good investment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’d vote yes if it’s everything you say it is.
Passed on a white dial at that price, due to seller issues. The 15300’s are amazing value compared to what the jumbo is going for at the moment. I’d buy that.

I would if it's from TS, it's very good price for blue dial.
There is no need to send it in for service unless it isn't working properly.

I have to say, as nice as the AP boxes are, especially if you have a special edition box or a high end tourb etc, to me they are just another box to store. In all the AP’s I’ve had, including my wife’s, the boxes get opened once and then never seen again. That’s a long winded way of saying don’t bother buying one.

I would ask to see if they can get an extract before purchase, you can even offer to pay for it. Just to check the watch was not stolen. Its not really that much on top of what you are paying and gives peace of mind.

Sounds like a good price, I would buy it. I consider the 15300 the best Royal Oak to have been produced. When it was still in production few people had any interest in the 15202.

It’s a legit sleeper especially the boutique blue. I picked mine up a few years ago from London watch shop. Now time for extract and service. But the seller not the watch.

Sounds nice. I'd only get the extract, box etc if you are planning on selling it. Why spend that money now?

Not sure I would buy without papers. It may not have been produced with a blue dial for example. Can you verify it first?

One presumes the OP had let TRF know if he had gone through with the deal (since the original post from mid-March...)
