Newbie from the land down under

Hello from a Scotsman in the land down under. Lived and worked most of my life in Scotland, now calling Australia home. This has some horological cons, the stock is low and prices are high here, but I love watches and I am beginning to work back into the world after having taken quite a few years out.

I am predominantly a vintage watch lover, new rolexes appeal to me less, but like for many, the prices have began to make things more difficult, or at least making the decision making more difficult and research more thorough.

I used to have a full set 1680 single red and a snowflake Tudor 9401/0 which I sold when I was younger and more stupid. Been through a bunch of different watches without keeping anything too long.

Now I am trying to settle on a few pieces I enjoy and am not looking to change things up too much anymore.

I missed my 9401/0 so much I bought a stopgap Black Bay, which now has a new (old) companion, so I may offload the BB at some point.

Currently oworking on adding an A. Lange & Sohn 1815 Annual Calendar.



Excited to be a part of the community and learning more and more about Rolex and Tudor watches both vintage and modern.

Thanks in advance for all of the education and assistance I know you will provide me with, and already have as a browser.
