That is a lot of whiskey!!

I myself have been going on a bit of a buying spree but absolutely nothing even close to that!

Latest pickups - two bottles of blantons, heaven hill 7 year bottled in bond, Nikka from the barrel, and a bottle of Yamasaki which I haven’t seen in stores for quite some time

Cracked these two for my kid’s 4th birthday the other day. The Kentucky Owl Rye Batch 1 is from his birth month, figured it was fitting. Both are good, the KO is a knock out, I’m glad I’ve got a backup in storage. The Weller was good, I’m glad I only paid $49 since it’s not noticeably better than Antique 107, in my opinion.

The LEGOs are my kids’… he’s super into fire trucks and such right now.

Thank you

PA is apparently getting a batch of the 15.

Hopefully I can snag one when they go up online.

This batch is by far the most "Earthy" I've had.

Almost like a high proof McKenna which kinda makes sense.

I think it is a worthwhile pick up.

This one is so good. Looking for a backup still. The place I snagged it from had two more sitting on the shelf (this is from 2017, I think!) but someone bought them within the last month. Bummer.

I've had their 111 cask stength and it was impressive for such a young distillery. Unique.

I've got their bottled in bond en route right now, hopefully it's as good as everyone online is saying it is.

Just left my job of 7+yrs in 4-wall ops management due to diminishing health and strained marriage. My wife was so happy when I left the position that she immediately picked this up…. But gave me a catch: we can’t drink this until I find a new job that has nothing to do with my old company. Great motivator for sure! Hoping to give everyone a tasting update before EoM. Lol.

I've got several bottles of Kentucky Spirit open, and all are great. I've even got some 12/101 bottles from the 90s that are killer (although no CGF... those secondary prices are ridiculous!). And I'm just stockpiling old 8/101 bottles for a rainy day.

So I get a text from my wife asking me if I want Blood Oath 6 & 7, Mid Summer Night Dram, Michters 10 or Stagg Jr . She said she can’t believe the selection at Shop Rite Liquors. I was so excited and told her to get me two bottles. A few minutes later she said they are for raffle only. I knew it was too good to be true.
