Possible Trade
I posted this in the Rolex Forum, but I thought I might get different analysis here. I may have an opportunity to trade my 2009 Rolex Milgauss white dial for a 2011 JLC Grande Reverso GMT in stainless steel (Reference 240.8.18). Both watches have box and papers. I would be interested on thoughts on this proposed trade. Thanks.

Yeah. I’d do that trade. Especially if you war a suit once in a while.

Is there a reason to do this, other than boredom?

I did a similar trade. Different watches, but JLC suited me better.

I would do it. Do you have any other Rolexes?

What is in your collection? I personally dont appreciate the milgauss as much as others and I absolutely love JLC reverso. Easy trade for me. However, as a one and only, I’m sticking with the Rolex as it is way more versatile.

For these two models, I like JLC a lot better than Rolex.
If you like it, go for it.

Really interesting to see the love and popularity for the Reverso. Definitely not a fan personally. I'm sure their needs to be more cash coming your way if your Mil is complete.

I would not. That particular JLC gmt dial is just too busy, awkward, and clunky.

My current collection consists of the Milgauss, a Patek Philippe Neptune 5080 and a 100 year old Hamilton Piping Rock. I also have a quartz Montblanc and a quartz Shinola.
