The Green OEM Rubber Strap Question

A few days ago I bought the rubber green strap from Panerai Store Istanbul. But unlike the black rubber strap which came with the watch; the green one felt different.. inside the strap unlike the black one; both sides have writing; the left part is made in Italy and the other part is Officine Panerai.. is it normal cause the black one only has inside the short side written “made in austria”

I have the deployant version of this same strap purchased this year from the boutique in Aspen and the lettering on the inside is the same.

I have the same green strap, also realized it is made of harder compound and feels a bit sticky. Especially taking the watch off as the longer end is getting literally stuck in the keepers. The older black rubber strap I have feels much softer and pliable

Need to mention that due to the green rubber strap stiffness the watch sits and feels differently on the wrist.

The green one is definitely stiffer; would agree with what was said above.

Yup. All the ones with color tend to be more difficult to thread though their keepers as they tend to stick to each other. Black is the only color that doesn’t have that slightly “tacky” feel.

My green deployant has the tacky feel to it and it’s harder to thread through the keepers because it’s not as stiff as my black one. Curious.

Absolutely;
The rubber is far better in black version.. I don’t know why they choose this kind of rubber in the green version.. it feels like the cheap AliExpress versions.. I am seriously thinking to return it back .. the only difference from the AliExpress version is the tone of the green ..

For sure.. but to take the watch off from my wrist I have to wash and make wet the strap’s keepers ..

I know I should post this in the classifieds but if anyone has an OEM brown rubber deployant strap that they are bored with let me know.
