Curious ya'lls thoughts on this Breitling

For some reason this watch speaks to me. I know that is all that matters. But how is this generally regarded in the Breitling community? It's a departure from the norm. It would be my first Breitling. Have always loved the SuperOcean lineup

I do enjoy the rainbow stuff but not sure about this one. Probably because of the strap but its really not to bad. I think the Super Oceans look better w/ chronograph personally because of the large spacing between the dial markets. Balance its out.

In the end though - go with what you like. Its your watch, not ours. ;)

If you get a chance, stop by a Breitling AD and try on a Super Ocean if you haven't. Should see how it feels wearing it and looks on your wrist.

Yes, I have an appointment setup for tomorrow to go look at their lineup. They don't have this watch in stock. Turns out it is sold out at Breitling, so I guess enough people must like it

Yeah not shocked they don't have that specifically but I'd be shocked if they dont have a regular one to try on. Might not be because they are sold out but the opposite. Don't keep it in stock until an order is actually needed. I'm pretty sure that is the case.

I would never pay an inflated price for any Breitling watch as I do not believe the market will sustain the value in the long-term. At the moment, you will have to pay an inflated price for that watch. However, if this is the watch you love and you want to own it forever (or at least, a very long time), then that is what you will have to do, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Just too gimmicky for me and not particularly versatile.

Definitely not into the rainbow thing. But enjoy it, if you like it!

A jewel ! A unique watch like no other.

Go for the bracelet version and you can add straps if you like.

It was a limited edition with 1000 pieces made and it's sold out at Breitling.

Other than the dial being way to big that looks sick.

The forth pic above is actually a lume shot.

But during the day the lume looks as it isn’t as bright on the darker colors but is actually an illusion due the darker and lighter colors in different markers.

In full dark environment all the lume show the same level of brightness

The rainbow is rather cool. The brown leather strap just doesn't go with it at all.

People who do not like this watch may not like the Rolex GMT BLRO (pepsi).
The Pepsi is one of the hottest and hardest to get pieces of all time.
Good luck.

Edit: I do like it on the bracelet much better than the strap

Seems busy, but definitely a unique piece. Looks much better on a bracelet.

I really like this watch.

Plus it’s not overly thick which is another pro for me.
