My first AP is here, searching for rubber straps options
Hello, everyone,
Just as the title says, I just got my first AP, the 26170ST ROOC navy dial and looking for options on deployant compatible rubber straps, especially for those hot summer days. Browsing the web today I saw only two major options: RubberB and HORUS. Any other ideas? Your help is highly appreciated! Regards, B. Rubber B is great quality. You can also contact the AP service center or even some boutiques and they’ll have OEM straps in stock.

RubberB is famous for high quality but unfortunately not clasp compatible, only buckle. Will check my local AP service center, not sure if the OEM straps for this watch come in Blue navy rubber. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

TBH, all newer offshores come with the pin buckle as the deployant isn’t that comfortable, I’ve had it before. They have navy straps that fit those measurements, might be something to consider.

I thought the Horus straps felt inferior to OEM. The silicone reminded me of something you would find in a kitchen used for grabbing hot cookware.

The deployant isn’t really an issue for me, the watch has been on my wrist the whole day. Might have something to do with the wrist size, have heard that larger wrists are ok with it.
For me, the pin buckle is the one uncomfortable and less aesthetically pleasing, plus the risk of dropping the watch when putting it on. Long story short, I’m a deployant guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a blue Horus camo strap for your 42 I can send pics if you want it for cheap. I traded in your same watch for a safari last year and its sitting in my closet. Congrats though its one of my favorites.

I have several Horus straps for sale which fit ROO 42mm. Check out the listing in the classifieds.
Also mine are for tang buckles. I’m not sure if you can put the deployant on them, but your swapping and changing will be much easier just using the tangs.

What a great watch, congratulations. As far as strap, call the local AD or boutique and see what they have available.
Good Luck. |
