F.P. Journe Production Numbers

I’ve heard F.P. Journe releases the exact amount of watches built each year for each model. I’ve been trying to find the info but haven’t been able to locate it anywhere online! Anyone have any idea on how we can get access?

Yes, this info is available. Call a boutique, they can tell you.

Nothing posted online? Don’t want to annoy my AD for production numbers of specific models and color combinations for every year!

Yeah not sure if AD has info; but boutique should have… asking color combo and models may get tedious LOL

Between 500-800 a year. Covid year was probably closer to 500.

If you're a regular customer of a boutique, they'll probably give you answers to these questions.

They don't readily post this online as I believe it's still technically internal information / confidential.

If I remember correctly, my (former) local FPJ AD -- not a boutique -- received specific production numbers, on a per model basis, from FPJ.

This is correct.

To the OP, it’s not posted online but you can ask. Most people are not asking for specific details for each reference in each dial and metal variation and so you’re likely going to wear your welcome thin if that’s what you will be doing !

Sorry meant Boutique not AD.

I’ve purchased a few Journes from my Boutique but I wish this info was posted online to easily check numbers over the years.

I mean, no one is that transparent, really, so I understand the wish, but it's an unrealistic one.

There will be no issue asking them how many of your specific reference with the specific metal and dial were produced.

Which is all you want to know really. Or I guess if you are buying a new watch (be it current or out of production) then this is nice to know.

There is some less precise information on production numbers specific to dial variations and metals or bracelet versus non bracelet as you go back further.

The fact that this information is freely is really great.

Plus it gives you a reason to talk to the Boutique, because it’s not like they have watches to sell us !!!

I'm not sure they even know.

Instagram correspondence from Journe's official account as of today (shoutout to Swaye haha):

I'd like to know too, as I'd like a CS 38mm in platinum and am not in a rush.

38mm? FP Journe stopped making those forever ago.

That's what this set commemorates (the end of the 38): https://fpjourne.com/collection/seri...et-acier-38-mm
