If I had to go white gold though it would be the steel dial over the blue which I just don’t care for.
Love the RG/Chocolate dial, it will look real nice on a brown alligator strap as well (more formal). Just a beautiful versatile combination.

This one is so damned nice. Love the WG silver dial as well. Those are my top two.

They absolutely do not look and wear the same. The WG, RG, and PT bracelet models feel and appear chunkier than the YG bracelet version. Besides for the symmetrical lugs and side profile case shape, the end links are also longer and stick out further. This all adds to the feel, size and wearing of the watch. In my opinion, the YG version wears more balanced.

I appreciate all of the responses to this question, which I was thinking through today. OP one other item I am considering is sub dial differences from my steel Daytona. It creates more differentiation between the watches in my collection. I like the wg with meteorite dial but I have enough light colored dials. The rg suggestion from other posters is a great one. Best of luck! Let us know

Does anyone know what year the blue dial was introduced on the WG model?

Which PM for Daytona on bracelet?

I throw this in for your consideration. The blue dial is amazing and was my first choice but when I had both side by side, I bought this steel face.
I still would love to buy the blue face in the future if one were offered to me.

Do bring up a good point. I do really like the silver.
What year were both of these dials introduced?

100 percent agree. I found the blue dial dull and without enough pop. The true Panda dial is stunning.

Not 100 percent certain but I thought they’re introduced in 2016-17?

So, this far, nobody chose Platinum as their favorite PM Daytona?

I made my choice a few years back; it's still the one for me. Sorry about the dirt on this well used watch.

You might consider what looks best on your skin tone. I imagine you are going to wear this watch and you'll be looking at it constantly as will your spouse or SO, who will give you their opinion. I have a YG 1680/8 Sub which has a slightly pinkish hue to it. Every time I wear it, my wife lets me know that YG is "not my color!" So more and more I wear my WG 116519LN (OF). Now I prefer WG as it doesn't call out "hey look at me." Just my personal preference.
