Charity auctions always get a premium++, there's some 'goodwill' in those high bids that goes beyond usual 'need' to acquire a piece.

Good news for Tudor.

Tremendous results for a good cause.

Plenty and plenty of money looking for the ultimate exclusivities....1:1 doesn't get any more exclusive than that.

That Tudor result is nothing short of astonishing when you compare the expected result to the actual result. Other marques didn't achieve the same multiples.

Anyway it all goes to a good cause which is the important point of the event

It's for a wonderful cause, thank you Tudor for taking part in this wonderful event.

Love the BBC!

Imagine a specialty Rolex went up for sale… green dial stainless steel Daytona with open case back… would have went for 10 million plus.

What a great industry raising Money for such a great cause!

I am surprised Blancpain Tribute to 50 Fathoms No Rad went only for 162K. No Blancpain fans for Only Watch?

FPJ, price aside, is the one timepiece I'd 'sell a kidney' for. So much variety of innovation is happening by quite a few ingenious independents. In some ways we're living in Peak Creativity and Implementation for high horology

Very tempting.

Very.

I couldn’t agree more… it’s a great time to expand the collection, however the pricing for some of the independents isn’t for the faint of hearts

Agreed. Instead of words, here's a video. Bask in the genius of skilled craftspeople working together...

If I remember correctly, Only Watch benefits Muscular Dystrophy. You all may be interested to know I have a form of that called SMA. Pretty cool for me as a TRF member to see this awareness happening here :)

That Tudor really killed it eh!?! Nice piece, one of a kind, great cause for sure! My gratitude to the winner!
