Yup! At least for that era of aircraft. Also goes to show just how the role of the watch has changed for the pilot over the years. Back then it was a navigation device, while later it became almost more of a pilot's "destination tool" (the GMT).

I like that!!! If they did, they probably would have got punched in the nose!! My usual response is "too small for what?" If you can read the dial, it's not too small. Maybe in addition to getting fatter, maybe our eyes are getting worse too!! I wear my 34MM 14000 all the time, and I'm hardly small.
