You can barely see those little marks under a microscope! Even if it was seriously dinged up i would still recommend against polishing, but that is such a tiny marking, you'll lose the entire factory finish just to polish out a tiny mark you can barely see on the lug? If it was a huge scratch on the bezel or something, i'd consider trying to replace the bezel or maybe polish, but this is just being super anal about the condition of your watch. Watches are meant to be worn, im surprised i dont see more people walking around with bubble wrap tied around the watch with the lengths some people go through to keep their watch "pristine".

Baffles me why people want to play around with their Rolex watches — especially when removing a bracelet that was always intended to be a part of its core design! Want to play with straps but a Panerai. All just my opinion btw.

Have a look at the lugs of watches we wear on a daily basis. That doesn’t even compare to the lugs on some of my watches. The corner ding against a steel door handle for instance
