Problem with my 18078

Recently the day changes at midnight but the date does not. If I manually change the date same thing happens day changes but date does not. I can change the date via the crown. I hate to service the watch because it's running plus 2 seconds for the last 10 years, Any help out there ?

The 3035 and 3055 are known for their date mechanism issues, they can be quite annoying to work with as a watchmaker.

You'll need a watchmaker with parts account to have a look at it, dial and hands need to come off at least to fix the issue. And it wouldn't surprise me if a complete service is needed, even though it runs well enough.
