1960’s Diver Watches
Hello! I’ve always been a big fan of those old, beat up yet beautiful late 60’s dive watches (who isn’t?). My friend actually bought an old 60’s Rolex Sub at a flea market for $10 and sold it a few years ago for $20k. Crazy story. Anyways, I love the minimal look of the old Rolex/Tudor subs as well as the Omega Seamaster 300’s but they’re just so insanely expensive. I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for more unknown brands of dive watches that are less expensive (hoping for under $1k), but still have that beautiful, minimal look. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!! C

My first divers watch I bought in Portland, ME at an Army Navy store in the '60s. I had great hopes for it until it stopped after the first time I swam with it.

Under $1000 you can find Nivada, Sears, Tissot, Bulova, Clinton, Benrus, Forstner, Zodiak, Helbros, etc, etc. There are so many of them, I could list the brands forever.
