Whether the grey premium is worth it, only you can answer that. Personally I think not.

Regarding value retention it’s a risk. If anyone needs it to absolutely retain grey value I’d say not. When you’re paying 2+ times RRP, regardless as to what many people like to think, there’s obviously a risk that the market value may fall leaving you out of pocket if you need to sell.

I’d say a degree of premium is fairly likely over various short/medium timescales. The current market? Again, I think it will likely start to fall back. I’d only pay the premium if you’re happy you may be out of pocket down the line.

Rolex 126710 BLRO Pepsi Worth Premium?

Do you have any relationship with your AD? If yes and you guys get along I would go talk to your sales associate and feel the situation out.

If you have no relationship with your AD, or just one purchase, you are a long time away from a Pepsi and if you want the watch soon your best bet is going grey.

No one here can answer if it’s worth it. This is completely subjective. I think a stainless daytona at market pricing is insane and I would never spend 35,000+ on one. Others don’t agree with me and pay market .

10,000% agree.
The market sets the price. Your level of motivation dictates whether or not you make the purchase.

I love these guys who think market prices are blasphemy. lol
Ask them if they've ever sold a house for what they paid for it. Clearly, they failed Economics 101 --- or buy into socialist price controls?

Last I checked, individuals seek to make money, not friends, in free markets.

Is it worth the premium? Probably not. Heck i dont even think it’s worth its msrp. But if you want it and can afford it then go buy it. Ignore the haters and pocket watchers.

The funny thing is that the longer you wait to buy it, the more expensive it will become lol
