How long did it take to buy your Patek?

Thought it’d be fun to see how people buy Patek’s (and what model) - right out of the case or how long wait after registering interest?

For me - Patek 6119R. Deposit at one AD, registered interest at another AD. Took about 6 months and got it from the AD I didn’t have a deposit with.

If it is in-stock, of course it will be instantaneous. But with ordered pieces, it all depends on how many allocations the AD got and how many other customers are interested in the same model.

I have pieces which came after 3-6 months after I placed the deposit. And there is one piece on ordered since end of 2020 with 2023 ETA. So that can be anywhere in between.

And if it is an application piece, it can be a retirement milestone piece.

Still waiting - but deliberately so. It’s for a special occasion, my AD could probably get it sooner - 5205g

you get it faster and for a discount (only down side is that you might not have your name on the paper)

All of mine have been around 45mins, it’s usually the paperwork that take’s the time.

Times were different. My first PP was a 5711 in the display case.

5711 blue in 2018 after waiting 2.5 years w/o any purchase history.

Unfortunately, history is a poor guide for the present when it comes to buying watches. I have been on the (wait) list for two more pieces since 2019 and both remain many years out.

5205g blue. Registered interest but didn't commit to anything and it came less than a month after. Went to take a look at it and the rest was history
