Sorry no babes - been working straight since Monday and I just moved last Sunday - it will be a week tomorrow, errrr oh my gawd! Today! Well in a few hours - it still hasn't sunked in quite yet. It has been so fast and sudden.

I was reading an interview yesterday, Jean-Paul Belmondo who is 73 year an old French movie star who said, and I translate loosely but accurately, "My career was like a dream and it is over now, it went by so fast" The guy made 87 something movies, my point is life is so fast it goes in the blink of an eye and I am thankful that today instead of being selfish and going out there and taking pictures as it was a great sunny day that after work, I decided instead to go and help my father put stuff away. He's 70 - Essentially I am thankful to be back in Montreal only for being closer to my father who is not in the best of health and I wish him another 30 years but alas I may not get another 30 so I'll take everything I can when I have free time - he will not be around for long, even if he is around for another 30 years that will be a blink of an eye, gone...

So yea... Work is going good as such I thought I'd share a view from my office and a few more close by attractions

Looking west

Looking south (Yea I got a corner office! No shit - I am a little excited by that fact! Plus last night a ballerina from Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal came and visited Babe... Hummm flexible and classy babe So yea in a way my career is kinda sorta like a dream right now - unexpected unplanned and pinch me someone cause if you would have asked me a month and a half ago where I would be my answer would not have been where I find myself to be today - what a position and I get to see my father often!

Of course for the next pics I had the wrong setting for the camera - ISO 1600... Shoot but hey what can ya do..?

Now to the other important stuff - the best place to browse and shop for watches in Montreal - Chateau d'Ivoire a street corner away from my office ;-)

And just across the street from that corner - lo and behold... A memory of money spent a decade ago - tons of cash gone up in smoke at ....

WANDA BAR! Wanda's - Yea money well spent! Shoot I can still smell the poontang on me to this day - I hope ... Awwwww shucks I know they have the best girls in Montreal!!!!

No matter the watches and everything else - the people I love are way more important but yea - there will be more watches and picture taking in the future - gimme a few months. Living in a dream trance like period in my life... Exciting as I start everything new - no dishes - no sofas - no fridge and no stove! Well not yet - an empty two bedroom apartment no glasses and anything but the clothes on my back and a good job plus a close proximity to people who count - pinch me! Awwww shucks - end of my endless ramblings on life!

Okay one more thing in Montreal a 2 bedroom apartment cost me $525 and high speed Internet = $20 a month sooooooo why are you living elsewhere? Oh yea - Toronto rocks! he he he

Ya know that song "Knock, knock, knocking on heaven's door..." Well that's the door! ...

Thanks for the pics, Patrick. Belmondo's flicks were action packed and very fast paced. Saw quite a few during the mid-70s.
