Glashutte Original Strap Suggestions?
So I just purchased a 2020 Glashutte Original Sixties Chronograph. It's on it's way to me and it came with an aftermarket black alligator strap from the seller. I'm considering buying a suede strap for it, so I did a quick photoshop of the watch with different color bands. Figured I'd post it here to get peoples opinions, because I'm undecided on which color to get.
This watch face changes colors depending on the light, so it's tough to get an accurate pic of the dial. Below is a pic of it with the original band that was not included in my purchase. Below that are the 4 colors I'm considering. Let me know your opinion. Also, can you also recommend a strap/band company to buy from online? Pic of watch with the original strap that is not included from the seller. 1,2,3 or 4? |

Glashutte Original Strap Suggestions?
They all look good.
I favored a Havana pigskin strap from Panatime on mine. |

Awesome watch. My personal preference would probably be 1 or 2 for the straps but all of them work no problem.

That is my preference as well. 2 is nice because the strap recalls the color of the center of the dial. 3 is nice because it gives more continuity with the edge of the dial.
I guess 4 could work as well, but perhaps less interesting. Last edited by themast; 25 January 2022 at 07:26 AM.. Reason: In the last sentence "3" was meant to be "4". |

Great watch congrats. I’ve got the orange dial Sixties and love it.
My vote is 3. 2 looks great as well, but I find I never wear lighter straps as much as I think I will. YMMV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’ve been wearing mine on the OEM strap for about a year now. Sometimes it looks grey sometimes brown. It gets about 3 days a week on the wrist and still looks like new. I’m certain they’re not cheep but the quality is very good.

Very nice. I'm kind of surprised they call the color glacier blue. It has more of a light purple hue if you ask me. Would you agree?

That's a great looking watch! Congratulations. I prefer 3 but 1 followed by 4 look good too, depending on what you're going for. I know it's obvious, but a strap can really change a watch and a minimal investment in straps can give one a variety of looks.

OP, these photos are interesting. I would wait to see the watch in person, or anyway if you have to order the strap, see if you can order multiple ones and only keep one. At some point I thought GO made two different versions of this dial but now I appreciate how much it can change based on how the lights hit it. I was never too fond of the color of the standard strap, and if you notice not many voted for 1 (which appears to be close to the standard option) but perhaps that works well in real life. |

The watch came and it's stunning. Unfortunately, the dial is impossible to photograph. Every time I look at it the color changes from purple to blue to silver.
For the life of me I can't get my camera phone to take an accurate picture of the color. The 2 pics below looked blue to me in person, but the camera makes it look purple. Just a crazy yet beautiful dial. I do like the black alligator strap it came with but I'm still going to buy 1 or maybe 2 varying shades of light to darker grey. |

The purple in your picture looks amazing. That makes me lean more toward the grey #2 strap.
