Waterproofness testing regularly?
A few months ago I bought my datejust 126200, and am really happy with it. I found out that other watch manufacturers recommend regular waterproofness testing, and even Omega advises a yearly test. Rolex doesnt say anything about it. I have no doubts about my watch of course, I also shower with it, but does a Rolex need some periodical testing or not at all, do you know about this?

Typically, diving watches, or those that routinely see harsh conditions, are recommended to be tested regularly.
A Datejust is not usually considered to live a harsh life and it would likely be a waste of money to routinely check it's waterproofness. Any test is only good for the length of that test too; it could fail shortly afterwards. A better approach might be to replace the seals every decade or so.
