Hi
I’m buying a mark 3 and I’m concerned about authenticity. I’ve done a lot of homework but I was hoping someone would have expert advise on what to look for? Can anybody help? Dave |

There are a couple of suggestions I have. 1. Buy the seller, which means make your purchase from a well known seller with a reputation to uphold. Check buyer feedback and contact the seller's references; these would be buyers who have bought from the seller and are willing to share their experience. 2. Find a local CW21 certified watchmaker knowledgeable in Rolex watches who is willing to open the case and inspect the movement for condition and authenticity, then reinstall the caseback - preferably with a new genuine Rolex "O" ring - and test it for the rated water resistance. He should also verify the reference number and serial number on the case and check that they haven't been tampered with. Good luck.
