Only if you are always in very informal environments, like life guarding or clown school.

Nope. One and only will be a GMT for me as it is more functional to me than any Sub.

Nope. For a few reasons but one is comfort - the clasp is too big to wear every day.

Not for me. It could be in a pair. SubLN for a one and done.

Really depends on how you define “one and done.” That definition can really vary from person to person. While for me, not a one and done, I can easily see it serving that purpose - robustness of a sub and the green bezel makes it a little more special than the regular sub and helps it stand out. Loving mine!

No, one and done would be something more versatile. In a collection, sure, why not if you like green. I could wear green on that odd day, no problem.

I agree that in the real world most Rolex owners only have one Rolex. If the LV was readily available I’m sure a fair amount of would be owners would choose it. The robust versatile nature of the Sub Date with a bit of flair, sure.

No. Just not versatile enough.

I don't like the green. Regular black Sub Date or Speedmaster are one and dones for me.

I would say no.
It’s not as iconic as a black Sub, and based on all the “incoming threads,” not that rare. |

Can it be? Sure, and I think the black dial makes it match with more outfits a bit better that the prior model may have clash with a bit. However, my personal pick is black on black for that role.

I have tried the one and done route. Thought I could be a one watch man. I failed miserably...

Could the Cermit realm be a one & done?
It’s nice but not as a one and done watch.

It could be a one and done beach vacation watch I guess. Great reference just slightly behind the 116610LV imo.

My LVc gets 90% of wrist time so I would vote yes the new version could.
