I get what you are saying about the long wait. Maybe once it sets in that you have such a unique and desirable piece, then you will rekindle the honeymoon stage. I know I am kinda the same way, in that even when I get a recent watch, I am always thinking what could be next, especially with the longer wait times these days. Of course I am so lucky and fortunate to have what I do, but being such a enthusiast you always start thinking what's next...the hard part is deciding what to keep and what has to go when the collection starts growing.
