Grand Seiko SBGY007 "Elegance Collection"

I acquired this recently. At 38.5 mm, it is a great size (IMO), for a dress watch. With a 72 hour power reserve manual winding. I love it!

Beautiful watch! They have some nice manual and automatic movements in the Elegance Collection. I have been looking at one of the GMT Automatics lately. Previously looked at the Spring Drive but couldn't go for a Hybrid (Automatic/Quartz) movement. I'm just too much of a purist.

Agreed. Probably going to sell my Skyflake to acquire it in the coming months.

I'm starting to think this would work great as a summer watch with perlon and suede straps. I still don't know how I feel about 19mm lugs though.

Beautiful watch. Love it. I'm curious though. Does the watch have a ghost position for the crown. I've heard it does, but do you know why?

I helped bring Grand Seiko to Virginia. I love mine. Bought it the night the watches got rolled out. Great dress watch for the price. Easily compares to other brands priced significantly higher.

Thanks everyone! Don't know about ghost position. Regular crown to me.
