Vacheron Constantin register with boutique or e-boutique?

Do you believe there would be any advantage to registering with a traditional Vacheron Constantin boutique versus the VC e-boutique?

I am looking to purchase an Overseas Chronograph (5500V/110A-B148).

If you're in the US, really no shot at a 5500V/110A-B148 via their e-boutique. They might capture your information as a prospective client with an expression of interest and maybe in a few years if they have enough allocated to those preceding you, you might be asked to place a deposit.

At a B&M boutique, perhaps with the right connections, relationships, and purchase history they might virtually have you hop the line locally. Even though it might not be Royal Oak difficult, its getting close. Either way best of luck, you can't make the shots you don't take.

Why not both, and whichever comes first you get.

I think VC boutique is your best shot, never know what kind of relationship you can develop and if you can make your way up the list!

In person at a boutique is always best. Put a face to a name.

Tried doing e-boutique way... ended up going to Miami's VC boutique in person to follow-up.
