Icey NWA

Hey all, just wanted to share my newest acquisition, a steel Laurent Ferrier galet with ice blue dial. Such a vibrant dial is typically out of my comfort zone and I was a little apprehensive, but I immediately fell in love the second i took it outside in the sunlight. Despite the relatively simple dial, it is incredibly dynamic and surprisingly legible.

The micro rotor movement features the double direct impulse escapement and the finishing is out of this world, I wish my camera could do it justice. Extremely wide anglage, five interior angles, plenty of black polish, deep cote de Genève...it's quite mesmerizing.

The case may seem simple, but features subtle, complex curves which make it play with the light in interesting ways.

I'm glad Ferrier is finally getting their day in the sun and people realize what they have to offer.

Anyway, onto some pics.

Many thanks all!
There are so many LF models that appeal to me, so this decision took me quite some time. Haha

Man, that is just flat out cool as hell (or in this case ice). Another congrats from me on, yet, another incredible addition to your collection. LF is one of my favourites and I agree with you, the micro rotor movement is amazing...this one in particular is better IMO than the newer micro rotor in the LF "Nautilus" (apologies, can't recall the name, but I'm sure you get me).

Congrats again on a great addition!
