Which appeals most to you die hard fans?

Let’s assume your wrist can accommodate both a 44 and 47mm.

Both revered, Would you choose a 127 “Fiddy” or a 911 “Last One For Paneristi” — and why?

ETA with short power reserve vs. significantly longer in house movement a factor?

Fiddy. I prefer 47 and the Fiddy holds a great deal of cache in Panerai’s post-Vendome (Richemont) history. As for the 911, to be honest, I don’t understand the hype.

Fiddy all day long.

The 911 is just another shiny Bettarini cased model with relatively basic (albeit 8 day) movement. Flat crystal and flat looking IMO.

The127 is a beauty. The case, the crystal the heritage.

I owned a 911 and moved it on pretty quickly. Just a bit boring.

Both classics and I’d be happy with both.

If only one, then 127, of course.

Haha u can do 127 vs xxx poll, and 127 will win by landslide all day everyday.
The Fiddy is definitely good looking and has lot going for it.

However, I personally chose 911 for myself since I love the dial color of 911.
It’s a military olive that changes with different light. (Pics below)
The fact that it’s last one “made” by AB at limited 500 was the cherry on top.

Yes, the 911 has a really nice green dial — for that particular look, I personally prefer the non-Luminor … the Radiomir 995 with the domed crystal.

127…while lacking the historical significance, the 233 and 372 are nice too.

911 all day long, the green is perfect and the Marina is classic. I dislike the sub-dial inside the 9 on the 127 and I hate the 1950 on the dial, it adds nothing. And I won't buy any Panerai with the Reg. T.M. on the crown protection device.

There, I said it.

I am a total 911 fan. I've been watching models as they become available and I might take the plunge - if not this year than someday. I love the green and the gold sword-like hands. The fiddy is also a lot of watch for me. I'm at my personal outer limit at 44 - 45mm.

I’ve had most of the Panerai variants over the years. At one point I had 12 of them. After honing down my collection I decided that those 4 in my signature are the most iconic Panerai.

last one for paneristi pam911 is pretty much all hype.

but they have different case design and fit. i think the 1950 case is more iconic.

of course movement is important. as newer models have upgraded movemnt. but ETA is already acceptable

The 127 will win out, but I've really learned to love the 44mm Luminor cases. My 005 was my favorite Panerai I owned.

Helluva great choices for ur 4 Pams

127 and bronzo is Panerai essential, obviously

111 is similar to 911 like siblings. (911 does have 8 day pr.) 44mm is perfect
Everyone should have a Bettarini case in a Pam collection, right?

The 687 is so under-rated… it’s freakin gorgeous in person.
The case is so slim and comfy. And the etching on the bezel reflects sunlight like diamonds… simply awesome.

Again, very nice collection

another vote here for the 127; it's the one that originally commanded a ton of attention upon its release, for good reason (the 1950s style case was not available on any other Panerai model at the time -- and while of course that has changed, there's still nothing that's been released since then, that's quite like it.. perhaps the 1080 produced for an EU paneristi club, but that's about it).
