Gerry really ???

The toughest hardest wearing Rolex of all is a DJ 36 with diamond bezel and super jubilee .Can only show scratches on the case .

That would go perfectly with my jeans and T-shirt.

Seriously though, very cool they actually displayed it. Thanks for sharing.

You're welcome !

Agree, very nice of the AD to display it .If it just sat in the safe and got collected ,no other clients would see it and this thread would not be possible for the TRF family .

It is purdy....but having to explain why my Rolex looks like a Neapolitan bar would drive me nuts...

Congrats to the new owner...may be Ben or Jerry?

If there were no diamonds on the lugs and crown guards it would be f’ing amazing.

That would have been a great option ,but what option really ?
This is most likely the only one I would see in my lifetime .

It's one of those rare one's that exists in theory ,but very rarely actually appears in the metal ...unless its in grey cloud land at a hefty "lets see what we can get " asking price.

However,it is quite special .
If to be found at an AD and funds allow, its a no brainer.

It is the metaphorical shiny Pokémon that you encounter in the wild. It is bloody gorgeous.

Wait, the watch was sold but is on display for 6 weeks before the owner can pick up the watch? Sorry, I don't understand why any ADs would do that!

So that other clients can see it .Simple.
It is quite a unique reference.

Walked past the display window and saw .... WHAT !!??
I stopped in my tracks .Dead in my tracks.

Went in ..Already sold .On display for 6 weeks ,before the customer are allowed to pick it up .So, that other customers can see it too .
The sales assistants are very excited about this one too .First one they have seen too.
Only allowed to handle it with gloves, which is very fair to the new fortunate owner.

I cannot find the right words to describe this reference ...
It is simply out of this world .

I have seen many top references from Rolex over the years ..

Plat Daytona,YG green Daytona,Plat DDs ,YM pave diamond dial ,colour stone bezel ,oysterflex.RG GMT II ,GMT Meteorite (Which I own ) ,Blue dial WG Daytona,YG and WG Daytonas on oysterflex and others which I cant think off now ,but this is special .

I hope you have the chance to at least see it one day !!
Looks like Liberace took a dump!

Like it, don’t love it. With that said it’s something you definitely don’t see often, if ever in the wild.

Have to see it in the metal .Its a combination of colours that just works.
Masterful design and execution of creation.
Correct,work of art.

Its one for a stand out person, not one for a low profile, hiding in the masses type..
I see it as special occasions, male or female .
