Random serialnumber but with 2 letters at start???
I bought Red Sea Dweller 126600 year: 2017, check everything is perfect, but the serial number start with CZxxxxxx, is it possible a random numbers but start with 2 letters and 6 numbers??

10 numbers and 26 letters in the alphabet (and only “O” which Rolex won’t use for the avoidance of confusion).
So that leaves 35 characters to pop up in some “random” combinations. Since letters out rank numbers by a ratio of 2.5 to 1, then there should be that many more “random” serial numbers where 2 letters are contiguous. Math majors will eventually calculate the odds - but it isn’t that unusual methinks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

This 126600 is still in some plastic, it seems the old owner rarely worn, looks like very new. Got it only usd.12k. Love this baby.

It seems the old owner had difficult time to sell theRed Sea Dweller because of the serial number that start with 2 alphabets and following with 6 numerics.
I took the risk after check outside the unit.
