Rolex Expands Support For Extreme Sports With The New GMT II ‘Monster’

(April 1) Earlier this week, Rolex unveiled its latest creations. These mechanical timepieces shine the light of optimism and innovation on the watchmaking world. In its perpetual quest for excellence, Rolex constantly enhances the aesthetics and technologies of its emblematic timepieces. They are an invitation to push boundaries, to reach ever higher. With, as always, the same promise of outstanding quality thanks to the company’s complete, in-house mastery of watchmaking expertise.

The company’s new GMT II ‘Monster’ is aimed squarely at extreme sports athletes, with 100-meter waterproofness rating and high durability, as is expected from Switzerland’s leading brand of mechanical timepieces.

For almost a century, Rolex has developed partnerships with a diverse, extraordinary collection of talent from myriad disciplines, including exploration, elite sports, and the arts, as well as the events and organizations they are associated with. Rolex’s continued support for human endeavors now includes enabling extreme athletes the opportunity to achieve their very best. With a distinctive black and green ceramic bezel, the new Rolex GMT II ‘Monster’ marks the company’s expansion into honoring the goals of modern human excellence.

The LN looks amazing with that bezel. It’s even better because of the green text.

For sure.

I'd love to wear an LN with that bezel.

Excellent writing, Steven. I think you've done this before

Yes, the green text....conspicuously absent on the new model....sigh. It would have been perfect. This was a let down.

Very nice.

All it requires is a tiny crown at 6 o’clock.

I don’t know why Rolex spends money for advertising ?
You can’t buy one, so why bother ?

You can’t buy one because their advertising has been so successful for decades.

To remind people about what they can’t have, therefore making them want it more.
