Recommendations for authentication in tri-state area?

Hi all,

I recently bought a Datejust 36 online and wanted to get it authenticated for the peace of mind. Can anyone recommend an AD in my area?

I am located on Long Island, NY.

Thanks!

RSC New York City. Go in and ask for a service estimate. They can typically do it while you wait. They will tell you immediately if there is an issue. Get the estimate and leave. If it needs service you can then submit the watch.

.

Recently, fakes and franken got to new level, if you don't take the watch apart you won't know. and even then it sometimes requires extra time by a trained watch maker. Fake glass, fake parts , fake printed cards, fake fixed links on gold bracelets (the links are real gold, but not Rolex) etc.

I can’t understand in this day and age how people are buying watches that need to be authenticated after the fact.
