The WG Sub with a black dial just looks like a regular Sub, albeit with a blue bezel? Just like the Cermit? I don't know, looks a bit bland for a 51k watch.
Yes I agree 100%

This happened with the smurf. You could buy it all day every day for between 25 and 27k on the secondary market (I bought one at the time), and shortly after it was discontinued it doubled in price.

Beautiful watch. Hard to justify $30 over LV in MSRP.

There are more people that want the world to know they are wearing an expensive watch than those who don’t care what the world thinks and wear what they wear for their own enjoyment. My $40k watch looks like a $10k Sub with a bezel swap. I’m OK with that

Not if you are buying for your own enjoyment of the characteristics of a PM watch and don’t care if anyone else ever knows what it is.

Agreed. And the same can be said for the wg gmt or the platinum vs WG dd40. Or a WG Daytona on oyster flex looks exactly the same as a ss daytona black ceramic minus the bracelet. There’s other examples as well. WG is definitely the best!

Lots or presidential and yellow gold Rolexes in general. I lost count of how many heads I’ve turned, confused looks, and compliments I’ve received. The guys with the yellow gold watches quickly get humbled, and might even feel a little silly wearing a loud YG piece. Some people know right away what it is, some people think its a Batman, some people dont look twice at it. It’s by far the ultimate sub and those who know, know exactly what I’m talking about. And best believe it’s slowly picking up steam on the Grey market…51+ easy
