Though a Rolex distinctive feature, the magnification is quite useful. As such I've added the cyclops to other sapphire crystal watches when needed.
Just yesterday my wife asked to add one to her chrono where the date is kinda small. I've ordered the 5 mm cyclops and will add when it comes in. I love it on my Datejust. Also see how a 'clean' no-date dial has its virtues, but a small unmagnified date is kinda useless. |
