What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

I have actually used a microstella tool to adjust Rolex timekeeping. Requires very steady hands and a magnifying headlamp, at least for me. I have built several very small models which helps. Please don't ask me how my hairspring broke on my first attempt.

That is interesting. My question is why Rolex chooses to use such a fiendishly difficult method of regulation when most movements have a simple screw or lever? Must be an advantage to it.

The advantage is not just any garage hobbyist will be willing or able to tinker with the movement’s precision timing like with other mechanical movements and would have to seek professional help in all likelyhood…
Cool information OP, thanks…
