Single watch roll

Hello forum!

I finally acquired my watch from the AD. Waited about 4 months, DJ 41 jubilee with slate dial just in time for my wedding in 2 weeks.

Traveling with my watch, any suggestions for a single watch roll with a “W” cushion like the one they supply in the Rolex box? Only one I found is from Phase De Lune. Just curious if there’s any other brands out there that has the”W” cushion for the watch roll only because I’m worried others might not fit due to a my bracelet being smaller, I had to take out 5 links.

I got this one from daily watch - I thought it was a little pricey for what it was BUT it has the “W” roll like the one with Rolex box which I like and you asked about - I think it is higher quality than the $50 ones on Amazon that don’t have the W roll FWIW

Everest has the “w” watch cushion style you’re looking for. I’m very pleased with mine and own four of their rolls.

You have to be careful with a lot of those Instagram brands. Most buy from Ali baba and resell them under private label. You pay a mark up that means nothing in terms of increased quality.

Also, if you want designer label that is actually designed fairly well and with the “w” style cushion, take a look look at Fauré Le Page.

I bought a a single roll from FLP and liked it, but ended up giving it as a gift to a friend as I preferred my Everest more.

It’s funny - “Made in China” but “Inspected” in Copenhagen lol - true story it did ship from Copenhagen…. Good advice though - like I said I’m pleased with it - I have the $50 Mirage one from Amazon many like and I think it’s better quality - the one you linked looks sick though for something more higher end

I saw your post with the Dailywatch’s roll and thought I’d chime in lol. I actually looked into their products last year when they started carrying accessories.

Nothing wrong with buying their products, but I’m just not a fan of how they and the rest take advantage of others who are unaware/less informed of the private labeling.

Funny story, there was a forum member here last year who started a feedback thread in Rolex general section raving about his new watch storage roll. Long story short, it was quickly discovered he had a personal interest in that company (owner) and posted the link on here with a promo code raving what a steal it was. He was buying them in bulk off alibaba.

The dead giveaway was that moderator discovered he created his TRF account with the company’s email address.

I asked my AD for one of the Rolex service pouches and they had one laying around. It’s perfect to use as a little bed over night when traveling. Never hurts to ask

Yeah that’s why I didn’t recommend either because the OP is looking for the “w” style compressible watch cushion.

I loathe the LV watch accessories. Don’t even get me started on them.

You may have saved me some money before I placed the order. Thank you. Nothing wrong with it but if I can get it cheaper than their retail or spend a bit more for a Everest instead.

Lol that’s awesome - I just wanted to give honest feedback because I disagreed with that guy about the Mirage - smells like a balloon and hate the pillow haha

Really good info and I agree with your feedback - really interested in those higher end rolls someday - but I plan on beating the heck out of this one so wanted to stay a little cheaper

Last, I can promise I’m not a company shill - I have an instagram account with 36k followers - if I really wanted to help them I’d talk about their product on my page - which I haven’t and I’m not going to - I think it’s really silly that they make it seem like it’s “from Copenhagen” when it’s really made in china and liked how someone called them out on it

I don’t get the pricing on these watch rolls 225$…? 450$…?

I guess I must have missed the memo on designer watch rolls…love the watches that go in them but prefer on wrist.

I got the $50 on amazon and it seems my watch band is slightly too short for its size, as when I clasp the watch over the cushion it squeezes into the cushion a little. Makes me feel like it's stressing the pins in the links so I took off and will return.

Carapaz makes very nice. They are in Switzerland so it might take a week to get to the US. They have 2 sizes of cushion. Wife needed the smaller for her watches.
