Tudor Black Bay 58 Owners

I bought mine new from AD. Was winding it today, and just realized there isn’t a black o-ring gasket (black rubber band) like there is on Rolex Sport models - e.g., Sub and Daytona.

I am a little surprised by this, but assume this is how they are made/sent by Tudor from the factory.

Does everyone else’s BB58 lack the o-ring? Maybe that’s why the BB58 has 100m less water resistance than the Sub?

Tudor uses the twin lock design on the BB and the Pelagos. The Pelagos is rated to 500m

Most Rolex crowns are twinlock, so no extra o-ring. The BB58 is not alone

Thanks, fellas - very educational. So, the answer is simply that the BB58 does not come with an o-ring. I love my BB58 Blue!

Great watch, great price, and available through ADs! What a concept.
