I know exactly what you mean Though I could have bought a nice car for the money I've spent on watches since I first came here. Difference is, the watches will hold their value. Cars usually don't

The fun part is FINDING your first Rolex! I ended up with a nice pre-owned Sub-Date. VERY happy with it and it can be worn casual or dressy.

In fact it is sitting on the drying cloth right now, just cleaned it up for the weekend.

Don't worry! Each of my watches are worth more than my Jeep! But the Jeep is of quality and runs like a top with 165,000. The point is buy something of quality and it will last. My grandchildren won't be driving my Jeep but I bet one of them will be wearing my Rolex!

I'm still a student, and I spend more time on watch forums than I do on my homework!

Imtiaz, good luck not buying anything.

cars aren't watches

No matter what car you buy, in 10 years it will be history. You could easily wear your watch for 30.

My wife just thinks I have another obsession. I don't know why she thinks that. I don't spend all day on TRF, just part of it.

sounds somewhat familiar , still mine wants to come too but uses a more suptile deterrent : she doesn't stop me from buying watches as long she gets one too.
