AP's beef with a GMT?

Any idea why there are no GMT's within AP's portfolio of RO or ROO? Believe there is only 1 Concept piece. Know there was a dual time 39mm RO and a GMT Team Alinghi, think 42mm. I was hoping for a 50th anniversary GMT drop, but not holding my breath. Am I missing something? Thanks for any insight!

Yeah I don't know what it is.

I love GMTs.

I think it may be hard to make an elegant GMT. Most of them are a bit too busy. The Rolex is the best of the bunch IMO. Nice and simple. The AP Dual Time, I like it, but it's got a lot going on. The VC dual time, while simpler, still maybe a bit too much.

The Aquanaut dual time has pretty great execution I'd say. Outside of the Rolex GMT, definitely my favorite. Am considering buying one in fact.

The VC Overseas World Time looks nicer, to my eye, than either of the VC or AP dual times.

The PP Dual Time pieces, being able to hid the second time zone hand is perfect. Rolex get's an A as well.

I have a Pepsi and Tudor GMT. I love both but the Tudor can easily be a daily piece for me. It’s a favorite! I hope AP makes something in the future

There are so many complications that AP used to make in the RO that they sadly do not make anymore. Dual time, annual calendar, complete calendar and day-date to name a few. Hope they add these wonderful models back.

I hope the DT returns, but in a better arranged dial. The previous DT dial was messy, compared to offerings from the VCO and Aquanaut travel time..
