Rolex Datejust Steelinox 62510H fake?

Hello, thanks in advance for any help.

I have a stainless steel Rolex Datejust with a black face with a ring of diamonds around it.

There is a crown on the outside of the knob thingie.

Theee is a crown on the outside of the clasp so you can see it when it is closed.

If you open the clasp, there is 2 pieces. One has a scroll that says Rolex in the middle.

The other piece has the scroll with Rolex in the middle with the following:

patented and registered *scroll* Steelinox
swiss made 62510H

On the far right of the above (basically top right corner) where is a B. On the bottom right of the above there is a crown.

The face is black with diamonds for numbers and a crown at 12:00.

Movement is like a Rolex.

Does anyone know if this is real?

Thank you!

Hi Norm,

welcome to TRF. that description while it sounds OK is not enough to verify a watch as genuine or not.

can you post some pictures here http://www.rolexforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21 we can then better pass comment.

what makes you question if its genuine?

Thanks Michael,
I posted some pictures.
An aquaintance wants to sell it for $1500, says it was his Dad's.
It also has 555 stamped on the band in 2 spots. I think that means stainless steel?

555 woule be the part number on the endlinks that fit a DJ..

The crown you say is on the clasp inner clamshell suggests that it is a fake bracelet, but would require further confirmation...

The photos you posted are impossible to tell anything from.. key numbers would be on the case sides under the bracelet endlinks..

"Movement is like a Rolex"....... I'm sorry, that is a funny statement..........

If you attempt to sell it here, read the For Sale rules for that Board..

Thanks Michael
I meant to say that the second hand is continuous, not exactly stopping at each second mark.

I am afraid to take the band off, I don't know how~

Do you know what that capital B is for?

Post some pics, I would be more than happy to help.
I have to admit, in my 4 years on the forums, this is the first time I have seen the word "thingie" used to describe a Rolex! I hope it's legit!
