Does anyone know if Rolex will substitute the meteorite dial on a GMT126719BLRO that was sold with the blue dial and, if so, what they charge for doing so? (I could swear I saw a thread on this subject in the past but can't find it for the life of me. My apology if I'm asking for reinvention of the wheel.) Thanks for your wisdom.

Check out Austin Daniels' videos on Tudor dial change, RSCs have different rules in different countries, so you may find a country that allows it, travel there for a vacation and change the dial while you are there.

In USA, I remember someone posting the diamond dial upgrade for their Platona, so you may want to check this with the RSC to figure out.

Definitely different in different nations. And also based on ADs ability to get things done, “wink wink”. Some can make things happen that others cannot.

Sorry to revive this thread, but has anyone tried this? I have a 126719 with a blue dial, and I can't for the life of me get one with the meteorite dial. A swap would be a welcome solution!

Given the choice I’d have the blue dial. Meteorite looks garish to me, red white and blue.

Dial changes at RSC/AD will be fulfilled only if the watch is out of its 5 year warranty

The switch to meteorite dial is possible only if it was a meteorite dial originally and it was damaged. At least this is what my AD told me when asked.
