Air King ref 126900 grey
A friend wants to get a 2022 Air King. He's not really a watch guy but wants what will probably be his one and only Rolex. He doesnt have any relationship with AD and is not going to do it so will go grey. We trawled through chrono24 and most of the usual websites over the weekend and saw that prices generally start around £8k to £stupid-k.
The retail price in UK is £5.9k so around £2k seems not too bad. However is it realistic? Does dealing with greys come with any caveats? Sent from my SM-F926B using Tapatalk |

I had no prior relationship with my AD and only had to wait about a month to get my Air King. If he's comfortable waiting that long, it's worth a shot to save the money.

I did not buy myself, but depending on the sellers location taxes might apply, that you would need to pay, so make sure you count them in when comparing prices.
If you want to avoid any hassle there, you will need to buy from a seller of the same 'tax zone', probably UK only in your case Gesendet von meinem ELE-L29 mit Tapatalk |

I bought my AK 116900 from a grey about a year ago. No problems. Not ideal but I wanted this particular watch. Of course I paid a bit more but who cares. I never take the thing off.
