I think you would love the way it wears, but beware it will wear smaller than your other 40mm watches. They look amazing on others, but feel they wear a bit small on me (7-1/2” wrist). That said, the pic below on my wrist looks great! I and many others think they are incredible watches with likely the most robust chrono movement (4130) in the business, which is incredible given its 22 years old now.

I wasn’t looking a buying a Daytona but when I bought my son a SubDate in 2008 my AD offered me a white SS model.

It’s now one of my favourites.

Black or white dial there is no bad choice.

I would recommend the Daytona. I have one and I love wearing. I have a 7" wrist and the 40MM fits perfect and looks great. I have never regretted buying it.
