How to clean AP rubber strap?

I have a white AP rubber strap and need advice on the best way to clean it? What brand of product(s) would I need?

Just use some mild soap (baby soap is good) and warm water. I just lather up the soap with my hands and rub it onto the straps for a few seconds. Can use a regular towel to wipe it dry, or use a microfiber if you want to.

I use warm water with fairy washing up liquid and a baby tooth brush. But even that doesn't really get the deep down dirt out of the textured surface. I plan to buy a second strap so I can get it swapped over allowing me to ultra sonically clean the one off the watch.

Dupe...

For interim cleans, just liquid hand soap and warm water.

For deep cleaning then a soft toothbrush and washing up liquid or jewellery cleaner works very well.

I avoid strong solvents on the rubber so it doesn’t go shiny, but in fairness when I’ve ended up getting things on it like alcohol gel, sun cream etc…it’s not caused any harm at all.

My straps all get really 'icky' in the summer, sweat, suncream, salty air, etc etc. I've only ever used kitchen soap and a tooth brush and they come up as good as new. The white straps too.
