Maintenance and caliper change 26470st

I am servicing my 26470ST that I got from 2014, refinishing case and buckle to take care of the scratches. The boutique gave me a choice of changing the caliper to its most updated one. Are there any pros and cons to this or is it an easy yes to change the calipers to help better the movement? Thank you.

you mean the calibre? I wouldn't if it costed me money. The movement in the case should be in prestine condition. if they asked if you wanted a new fresh buckle, i might consider if the original one was very banged up
