Icon20 Change bezel and jubilee on a 16710

Hi ;)

I got myself a all black 16710 and I love to play around with different straps. I just found out that I can also change the bezel so my question would be if there is a special serial number for this kind of bezel to find an authentic one (blue / red, Pepsi)

Also I tried to fit my jubilee from a 1803 DJ on it but it did not fit, is there a special one that fits on that? Would you buy those parts of eBay or is there a chance to get that from a Rolex AD?

Last question hehe any watch repair tools sets that you can recommend? I only have the basics to change straps and the 16710 is with lug holes if that is important ☺️

Thanks and best regards
Johannes

Nobodys come in, so welcome Johannes, and yes you can change inserts yourself but it's a tricky one popping back in etc for uninitiated. 16710 inserts in Red/Blue you can buy from Dealer (they have a product code but I can't recall it)for a relatively low cost or seek out a used one (be bit more expensive as etting scarcer by the year ) but do your research. Swaini3 and few others here have produced great guides to spotting fakes if you search them here and on the vintage Rolex forum on Tapatalk too.
Jubilee from DJ 1603 steel or 1803 gold ? What end links does it have pls as usually if say 55s they can be persuaded to fit easily?
Don't do watch repairs myself but I'm sure someone will be suggest some tools in due course. What are you seeking to do other than remove bracelets and adjust bracelets. Most here have a quality caseback remover (various sizes) which aren't an arm and a leg!. Lastly the lug hole version is easy to whip bracelets off in 2 secs, so that's good.

As noted, I doubt think I'd go by serial number, since there are a ton of aftermarket inserts, some sold honestly and some not. You'll either have to do your research, or buy from someone trustworthy and knowledgeable, and it can take some time to figure out who those people are.

Ref 1803 is not a datejust and won't generally have a jubilee bracelet. However, if you meant to type 1603, then the bracelet should basically fit, although the endlinks aren't strictly speaking correct, so there may be some gaps.

If your 16710 has a non lug hole case the Jubilee part number you want is: B20-62510-20-2-E1
